Study Finds Age-Related Muscle Loss Linked to Falls
A study conducted by experts at the University of Southampton found that older adults with sarcopenia may be at greater risk for bone fractures and falls. It was published in Calcified Tissue International. The researchers assessed a group ages 70 through 82 and discovered “that those with the condition reported higher numbers of falls in the last year and a higher prevalence of
fractures.” See more here.
